1. PFAS SEPARATION, RECOVERY AND CONCENTRATION

From Industrial Wastewater to Concentrated PFAS Streams

PFAS in industrial wastewater can be difficult to address because concentration levels, chain lengths, salts and other coexisting substances vary widely. Emulsion Flow separates and concentrates a broad range of PFAS, including short-chain and long-chain compounds. High concentration reduces the volume requiring downstream destruction or disposal.

KEY BENEFITS

Broad PFAS Coverage
Supports the treatment of a broad range of PFAS, from short-chain to long-chain compounds.
High Concentration
Concentrates PFAS into a smaller liquid volume to support downstream destruction, incineration or other treatment.
Robust Treatment Potential
Suitable for evaluating complex water streams containing salts, organic matter and other coexisting substances.
Compact and Modular
Supports installation near existing facilities and phased expansion according to processing requirements.
Verified Performance
Over 99.9% PFAS removal and 2,400-fold concentration were achieved in a 2026 demonstration project supported by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment.

2. CRITICAL MINERALS RECOVERY

Recover Value from Complex Process Streams

Emulsion Flow can be adapted to selectively separate and recover critical minerals, rare earth elements and other valuable materials from process liquids and recycled feedstocks. The technology supports lithium-ion battery recycling, metal refining, plating solutions and other resource recovery applications.
