NIDAK CORPORATION is a Japanese manufacturer specializing in stainless and high-alloy steel castings. Founded in 1974, we supply special steel castings to a wide range of industries, including petrochemical plants, centrifuge manufacturers, shipbuilding, and pulp and paper mills.
Our flexible production system supports high-mix, low-volume requirements. From design and manufacturing to final inspection and technical support, we manage key processes in-house to meet diverse customer quality requirements.

The Right Material and Casting Process
for Your Requirements
NIDAK works with more than 500 alloy grades to meet a wide range of requirements for heat resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, strength, shape, and production volume.
We formulate alloy compositions in-house based on the customer’s operating environment and required performance.
From five casting methods—static sand casting, horizontal centrifugal casting, vertical centrifugal casting, sand-mold centrifugal casting, and shell mold casting—we propose the most suitable process for each application.

Our material engineering expertise is one of NIDAK’s greatest strengths. Based on knowledge and experience accumulated through working with a wide range of special steels, our material engineers support customers from alloy selection through performance improvement.
We handle heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and wear-resistant alloys, including high-nickel and high-chromium compositions that are difficult to produce by conventional casting. We also develop custom alloy compositions to match specific operating environments and performance requirements.

From Melting and Refining to Inspection and Technical Support
NIDAK manages melting, AOD refining, casting, heat treatment, machining, final inspection, and post-delivery technical support through an integrated in-house system in Japan.
Our AOD refining furnace helps maintain material cleanliness while controlling alloy composition. In-house inspection and testing capabilities include radiographic and other non-destructive testing, chemical analysis, mechanical testing, corrosion testing, and wear testing.
Our material engineers also investigate damaged products, identify possible causes, and propose improvements.
